DNA of Thousands of Innocent People Still Being Collected by Police
Thursday, 07 June 2012
‘Privacy campaigners say the system remains “illiberal and uncertain” and accuse ministers of failing to ensure that the genetic fingerprints of those cleared of suspicion are removed from files.
Big Brother Watch also estimates it could cost forces up to £8million to sift through their records and remove DNA taken from people who were arrested but never convicted of crimes.
The warnings come despite the recent passage of the Protection of Freedoms Act, which was meant to scale down the biggest database of DNA profiles in the world, which has grown by almost 1m records since 2009.’

Overdosed: Over 25% of Kids on Prescription Drugs
Thursday, 31 May 2012 10:00

‘A report released by Medco Health Solutions Inc., the biggest U.S. pharmacy-benefit manager, shows that over 25% of children and teens are involved with taking prescription medications – although that number may have risen over the past couple years. Based on the company’s data from 2009, 7% of U.S. children are on a shocking two or more drugs.
Despite the alarming amount of children being fed prescription medication, many of these drugs were intended or tested for only adult use.’

Obama Leaves Monsanto in Charge of Ending Hunger in Africa
Saturday, 26 May 2012

‘At the Group of 8 (G8) meetings this past weekend, President Obama and the leaders of the rest of the world’s richest nations abandoned their governments’ previous commitments to donate $7.3 billion a year to end hunger in Africa, after disbursing only 58 percent of the total pledge of $22 billion and giving less than 6 percent in new money they pledged three years ago.
Instead, rich nations will leave the problem in the hands of the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition where private corporations will invest $3 billion over 10 years — Monsanto has committed $50 million — beginning in three countries, Tanzania, Ghana and Ethiopia.’

Fukushima radiation cover-up continues – here’s how to protect yourself

‘It’s not just Fukushima, though that may be enough. The northern hemisphere especially had been inundated with radioactive fallout by atmospheric nuclear weapons testing from 1950 to 1963. The Nevada testing area alone produced 1200 nuclear explosions that emitted radioactive particles across the USA.
The Chernobyl incident in 1986 affected hundreds of thousands throughout Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia. The boom in nuclear reactor power plants had already started and was constantly increasing, along with considerable radiation leaking.’

How Big Pharma and the Psychiatric Establishment Drugged Up Our Kids
Thursday, 17 May 2012 10:22

‘It’s gotten so bad, AstraZeneca, whose controversial Seroquel® still makes $5.3 billion a year though it is no longer new, now conducts “payer excellence academies” to teach sales reps to sell insurers and state healthcare systems on its latest drugs.5No wonder Pharma is finding “love” by prescribing drugs to the nation’s youngest (and oldest) patients, who are often behavior problems to their caregivers, who make few of their own drug decisions, and who are often on government health plans.
“Children are known to be compliant patients and that makes them a highly desirable market for drugs,” says former Pharma rep Gwen Olsen, author of Confessions of an Rx Drug Pusher.6 “Children are forced by school personnel to take their drugs, they are forced by their parents to take their drugs, and they are forced by their doctors to take their drugs. So, children are the ideal patient-type because they represent refilled prescription compliance and ‘longevity.’ In other words, they will be lifelong patients and repeat customers for Pharma.”’

Chemicals in Household Items are ‘Causing Huge Increase in Cancer, Obesity and Falling Fertility’
Saturday, 12 May 2012

‘Chemicals found in household products may be causing significant increases in cancers, diabetes, obesity and falling fertility, the European Environment Agency has warned.
Among the everyday items containing endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), which affect the hormone system, are food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The chemicals, which can leach out into food and be absorbed by the body, are also causing an increased number of neurological development problems in both humans and animals, it is claimed.’
The Children of Iraq: Was the Price Worth It?
Friday, 11 May 2012

‘The following is a presentation given in the Dialogue sessions of the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal, May 2012.
“…Line up the bodies of the children, the thousands of children — the infants, the toddlers, the schoolkids — whose bodies were torn to pieces, burned alive or riddled with bullets during the American invasion and occupation of Iraq. Line them up in the desert sand, walk past them, mile after mile, all those twisted corpses, those scraps of torn flesh and seeping viscera, those blank faces, those staring eyes fixed forever on nothingness. This is the reality of what happened in Iraq; there is no other reality….”

Powdered dead baby pills used as medical cure-all in South Korea
Thursday, May 10, 2012 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer
According to reports, corrupt medical personnel in China are selling aborted and still-born baby corpses to medical companies, which then secretly store them in people’s home refrigerators. When it comes time for processing, these companies then retrieve the bodies, dry them in microwaves, and grind them into powder, which is then injected into capsules.

The Gruesome History of Eating Corpses as Medicine
Tuesday, 08 May 2012 10:32

‘The last line of a 17th century poem by John Donne prompted Louise Noble’s quest. “Women,” the line read, are not only “Sweetness and wit,” but “mummy, possessed.”
Sweetness and wit, sure. But mummy? In her search for an explanation, Noble, a lecturer of English at the University of New England in Australia, made a surprising discovery:
That word recurs throughout the literature of early modern Europe, from Donne’s “Love’s Alchemy” to Shakespeare’s “Othello” and Edmund Spenser’s “The Faerie Queene,” because mummies and other preserved and fresh human remains were a common ingredient in the medicine of that time. In short: Not long ago, Europeans were cannibals.’
