Strauss-Kahn Ally is Accused of ‘Orgy With Little Boys’ in Morocco
Thursday, 02 June 2011 09:09
‘One of the closest supporters of scandal hit French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn was today linked with ‘an orgy with little boys’ in Morocco.
Jack Lang, the former Socialist culture and education secretary, was fighting to save his reputation after Luc Ferry, another ex-minister, revealed the crime on TV. Breaking a code of silence which traditionally allows such offences to be kept a secret, Mr Ferry said: ‘All of us here probably all know who I’m talking about.’
Mr Ferry claimed the man’s sex attack on the boys – which was said to have taken place in the tourist city of Marrakech and was uncovered by police who raided a ‘palm grove’ – was an open secret which had been discussed openly by a former Prime Minister.’

‘”We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination… So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.” – Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports
“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony… climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.” – Christine Stewart, fmr Canadian Minister of the Environment.’
Edible RFID Tags Track Your Food From Beginning to End
Thursday, 02 June 2011 08:45
‘Keeping track of everything we eat would be a great idea, and I’m sure we’d learn all kinds of things we don’t really want to know about our diet and overall health. Until now it’s been a major hassle to do this, but tiny digestible RFID tags could automate the entire process for every single piece of food that we consume.
RFID tags are antennas that don’t need batteries or complicated circuitry. When brought near an RFID reader, they passively transmit a simple code that can be used as an identifier. The tags are simple and cheap to make (you can just print them out), and they can be made small enough such that if you eat one, your stomach acid will naturally break it down into a tiny amount of silver that’s less than what you’d find in tap water.’

AIPAC Lobbying Strategy Goes Global
Thursday, 02 June 2011 08:06

‘Content with its near total control of the U.S. Congress and U.S. Middle East policy, as witnessed by the rapturous welcome Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu recently received from a joint session of Congress, the Israel Lobby is extending its tentacles globally in order to ensure that a Palestinian strategy to obtain recognition from the UN General Assembly in September fails to get off the ground.
Jewish groups in the United States and Jewish politicians around the world are joining the Netanyahu government in offering “carrots and sticks” to countries around the world in a campaign designed to lure votes in the General Assembly away from Palestine in a vote on UN recognition of independence for the disputed territories. WMR previously reported that the Obama administration was also pressuring members of the UN General Assembly not to vote for Palestine independence.’
Back from the Dead: The Internet ‘Kill Switch’
Thursday, 02 June 2011 08:29

‘And like a horde of flesh-eating zombies shuffling out of a parking garage to feast on what’s left of our freedoms, the Obama administration has promised to revive a proposal thought dead by most: the internet “kill switch.”
On May 12, the White House released a 52-page document outlining administration plans governing cybersecurity. The bill designates the Department of Homeland Security as the “lead agency” with authority to initiate “countermeasures” to protect critical infrastructure from malicious attacks.
But as with other aspects of U.S. policy, from waging aggressive wars to conducting covert actions overseas, elite policy planners at the Pentagon and at nominally civilian agencies like DHS hide offensive plans and operations beneath layers of defensive rhetoric meant to hoodwink the public.’
78 Percent of Pakistani Children With Polio Were Given Polio Vaccines
Thursday, 02 June 2011 07:46
‘In the last year, as Pakistan has lost favor with the US and UNICEF, polio virus has paralyzed increasing numbers of Pakistani youth, casting doubt on the good intentions of those who fight polio. To make matters worse, most of the new cases have occurred in children already vaccinated. Is the US attempting to fight Pakistan by tainting inoculation doses?
The medical data suggests that the vaccine has changed in its efficacy against the disease. Last year, there were 136 cases of infected youth, and 107 of these had been administered multiple polio vaccinations. These figures are the largest the Polio Global Eradication Initiative has seen since 2006, despite heavy treatment in the most affected areas, South Punjab and the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).’

‘Fox News Set Up to Fuel Conflict in US’
Thursday, 02 June 2011 06:39

‘Former CNN Producer Danny Schechter says the Fox News Channel was established to fuel “polarization and political conflict” in US society.
“You can almost hear the growling in the background as the masters of attack politics go into action, virtually every hour on the hour, on the Fox News Channel,” Schechter said. “The issues they focus on are carefully selected by top executives and then broken down into highly politicized message points”.’
Iraqi Authorities Must Stop Clampdown on Peaceful Protest
Thursday, 02 June 2011 07:03

‘Amnesty International has called on the Iraqi authorities to end their clampdown on peaceful protests following the arrest of 15 pro-reform activists in Baghdad in recent days.
Four protesters were arrested by plain-clothed security forces last Friday morning during a peaceful demonstration in Baghdad’s Tahrir Square. They are still being held and are reported to be facing trial on charges of possessing fake ID cards.
Eleven other activists were arrested when security forces raided the Baghdad headquarters of ‘Ayna Haqqi’ (Where is my right), a local NGO, on Saturday. Four were later released but the others, including the NGO’s secretary-general, Ahmed Mohammad Ahmed, are still being held, apparently because they are suspected of involvement in organizing demonstrations in Tahrir Square.’

NATO Wants to Free Africa From the Africans
Thursday, 02 June 2011 07:07

‘As far as the United States and Europe are concerned, Africans have nothing to say about what happens in Africa. South African President Jacob Zuma made a second trip to Libya this week, on behalf of the African Union, seeking a diplomatic end to NATO’s war against Mouammar Gaddafi’s government.
Just as with a previous African Union peace keeping mission, back in early April, Col. Gaddafi agreed to the peace plan. And just as before, the so-called rebels and their American and European bosses refused even to consider a cease fire.
As has been obvious from the beginning of this “humanitarian” farce, the Great White Fathers of Europe and the “Wall Street mascot” from the United States, as Obama has been called, will be satisfied with nothing less than regime change in Libya – and to Hell with what Africans think!’
