Explorers discover 3 billion-year-old life forms off the coast of Michigan

In mysterious sinkholes beneath the waters of Lake Huron, scientists have been exploring strange pockets of life that shouldn’t exist on present-day Earth. The microbes researchers have found would have been perfectly comfortable on the Earth of 3 billion years ago, before we had oxygen in the atmosphere.
How did the bottom of Lake Huron get riddled with sinkholes that time forgot? Find out, and see a video of life that hasn’t existed for billions of years.
The sinkholes at the bottom of the lake are pockets of de-oxygenated water that have pooled beneath the fresh waters above. So all the creatures who live in the sinkholes might have evolved at a time on Earth when no oxygen was available. In a recent Earth magazine article about the ongoing exploration of these sinkholes, first discovered a little over a decade ago, Lindsey Doermann writes:
These pockets of water teem with microbial life similar to that found around deep ocean hydrothermal vents or beneath ice-covered Antarctic lakes, not the kinds of microorganisms normally found in our own backyards . . . Before long, the true importance of these oddities became apparent: “These ecosystems in Lake Huron are analogs of the Proterozoic,” says Bopi Biddanda, a microbial ecologist at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and one of the leaders of the sinkhole science team. “They could be windows into communities that existed 3 billion years ago.”
Though it’s possible the creatures in the sinkholes are direct descendants of creatures who lived on pre-oxygen Earth, it’s more likely that they evolved from more recent organisms to thrive in an oxygen-free ecological niche. Either way, they are the closest we’ll get to seeing life from Earth’s distant past.
But how did those sinkholes get there in the first place? As you can see from this diagram, what’s happened is that freshwater from the Earth’s surface has sunk below ground, and eventually worked its way back out beneath the lake. As the water slowly eroded the lakebed, it created sinkholes of freshwater — lakes within lakes, if you will — where anaerobic or oxygen-free ecosystems began to thrive.
In this incredible video of the sinkholes, you can see the oxygen-free freshwater bubbling up from the lake bottom. All life on Earth may have once resembled these strange, algae-furred fingers reaching up from the sinkholes. It wasn’t until about 2 billion years ago that the planet began to have a significant amount of oxygen in its atmosphere. The shift to oxygen was caused by cyanobacteria like what you see in this video, who emit oxygen as part of their digestive cycle. As cyanobacteria took over ancient Earth’s seas, geologists believe that they caused the planet’s first climate disaster, killing off all the life forms that didn’t metabolize oxygen. Essentially, oxygen was a poison gas to them and made the planet unlivable. Lucky for multicellular organisms, oxygen ushered in a new era where life proliferated and diversified in dramatic ways, eventually leading to the world we live in today

Lost city found under the sea bed
Under The SeaResearchers scouring the ocean floor of the North Atlantic near Scotland have discovered what they are calling an “Atlantis-like” landscape underwater. One of the scientists said: “It looks for all the world like a map of a bit of a country onshore,” said Nicky White, the senior researcher. “It is like an ancient fossil landscape preserved 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) beneath the seabed.”
Such topography and evidence of a previously above-water seabed has been found in multiple locations in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as in parts of the Mediterranean Sea and under the Baltic Sea. Much of this area was once a thriving and civilized zone where people lived and worked.
A few years ago, a science vessel spotted a location near the North American continental shelf that was reported to look kike a bunch of skyscrapers, deep under the water. Of course, it was dismissed as an odd rock formation, much as the Face on Mars has been dismissed by science. When something does not fit in to standard history or geology, “accredited” scientists call it either a hoax or a rock formation. They never allow anything to upset their lock and key version of history and science.
Unfortunately for them, sometimes an artifact appears that cannot be explained. These mysteriously disappear from the news. However, an entire undersea city has been found off the coast of India which cannot be explained away. Geologists and seismologists say that it submerged with rising sea levels over time. Really? How? There was an Ice Age when this city flourished and sea levels were low. It didn’t just sink underwater one day.
There have been many cataclysms on the Earth in pre-historic times that were not documented since no one survived to write about it. The Bible mentions one flood. Evidence shows that there have been many such floods, tsunamis and landmasses sinking in many parts of the world. The Earth is a living mass that changes, just like people do.
If it happened before, it can happen again. Each time is different. We need to be watchful to the changes we see around us. Something is happening now. Does not matter if it is “natural” or “man-made”. The results are the same. Keep your ears and eyes open.
$11 Billion Treasure Found Beneath Indian Temple

The Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala.
A court-ordered search of vaults beneath a temple in India has turned up a treasure worth at least $11 billion, according to reports from the Indian state of Kerala.
An inventory of what lies beneath the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, as reported on the website Business-Standard.com and others, reads like a prop list from an “Indiana Jones” movie:
* Rubies, sapphires, emeralds and pearls
* Replicas of coconut shells made of pure gold
* Hundreds of thousands of gold and silver coins, some dating to the 16th century
* Gold chains as long as 18 feet
* Solid-gold human figurines and idols
* Crowns and pendants
* Gold and silver bars
The wealth was amassed in at least six vaults, some of which had not been opened in 150 years, according to media reports. India’s Supreme Court ordered an inventory of the vaults after hearing a private complaint seeking “more transparency and trustworthiness in the temple administration,” according to a report on the news website daijiworld.com.

The Kerala government said Monday the treasure will remain property of the shrine, according to media reports.
“The wealth belonged to the temple and it will be preserved where it was found. There is religious and historical significance to the findings. The state will ensure its security,” Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the Times of India.
As word of the find has spread, Kerala police are asking for help to safeguard the treasure, according to media reports.
“It is too big a challenge for the police. We have no trained personnel to manage such a huge treasure. We have sought the help of several agencies who can really help us,” Jacob Punnose, director general of the Kerala police, told India Today.
What might the treasure, which the Economic Times of India says is likely the biggest in the country, mean for Kerala, a south Indian state of 33 million people? The Economic Times has some ideas.

Concerning the pyramids near the town of Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this paper seeks to explain the symbolisms associated with several artifacts discovered in this region, some carbon dated as old as 10,000 years. The three pyramids, Sun, Moon and Dragon, were named from the emblem of the medieval Bosnian King Tvrtko. This symbolism descends from a sacred mountain named Meru described in the Rigveda, believed to originate in pre-Vedic Indo-Iranian culture. Evidence is presented here to establish a link to this pre-Vedic civilization, founded on astrotheological fertility symbolisms and harmonic physics.

Carbon Dating Indicates the Bosnian Pyramid Built Over 10,000 Years Ago

‘The hardheaded pyramid researcher got these days yet another important confirmation, whether anyone likes it or not. During the past years Osmanagic feverishly sought some organic material on the pyramids for radiocarbon dating in order to be able to determine the approximate age of the structures.
Finally, the organic material was found during summer excavations 2010 at Sonda 20 on Bosnia’s Moon Pyramid. The organic remains were found in the surface layers of the stone blocks that had been uncovered and were sent afterwards to labs for radiocarbon dating at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland.
Radiocarbon dating showed the organic material to have an age of 10.350 years, which means the terrace of the pyramid has been built approx. 10.000 years ago. It completely changes our knowledge of European history and first advanced civilizations – Osmanagic said.’
