Indians Stage Anti-Corruption Rallies

‘Massive rallies were also held in reported in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Chennai, Patna, Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi and Bhopal.
Massive protests have also been reported from several smaller cities and towns across India. The crowds chanted anti-corruption slogans and urged the government to step up its anti-graft activities.
The developments come after India arrested activist Anna Hazare for going on an indefinite hunger strike in protest to the new anti-corruption law.’
