E.coli Superbug Outbreak in Germany Due to Abuse of Antibiotics in Meat Production
Friday, 03 June 2011 06:46
‘The e.coli outbreak in Germany is raising alarm worldwide as scientists are now describing this particular strain of e.coli as “extremely aggressive and toxic.” Even worse, the strain is resistant to antibiotics, making it one of the world’s first widespread superbug food infections that’s racking up a noticeable body count while sickening thousands.
Of course, virtually every report you’ll read on this in the mainstream media has the facts wrong. This isn’t about cucumbers being dangerous, because e.coli does not grow on cucumbers. E.coli is an intestinal strain of bacteria that only grows inside the guts of animals (and people). Thus, the source of all this e.coli is ANIMAL, not vegetable.
But the media won’t admit that. Because the whole agenda here is to kill your vegetables but protect the atrocious practices of the factory animal meat industries. The FDA, in particular, loves all these outbreaks because it gives them more moral authority to clamp down on gardens and farms. They’ve been trying to irradiate and fumigate fresh veggies in the USA for years.’

18 U.S. Veterans Commit Suicide Daily; Largely Due to Psychiatric Drugs
Friday, 03 June 2011 06:50

‘”If mentally incapacitated troops are being drugged with dangerous, mind-altering drugs and deployed to battle against their will, how can we say that we have a volunteer army?” asked Alliance for Human Research Protection, the national network dedicated to advancing responsible and ethical medical research practices.
This is just one of the many criticisms being levied against the U.S. military in light of its liberal use of prescription medication, which is now being linked to rising suicide rates among soldiers.’

‘New E. coli Strain Causes Epidemic’
Friday, 03 June 2011 06:06

‘Scientists at Chinese lab BGI have found that a new highly infectious strain of the bacteria carrying several antibiotic resistant genes has caused the E. coli epidemic in Europe.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has said on Thursday that scientists are still unaware of the source of the new bacteria, and preliminary tests have shown that the bacteria is a mutant form of two different types of E. coli, AFP reports.
The new strain is called ST131 which caused many of the E. coli infections resistant to antibiotics in the fluoroquinolone and cephalosporin classes, scientists have said. The killer bacteria epidemic has left over 2,000 sickened across Europe in addition to 18 people who have already died of the disease.’
E-COLI strain. “Never seen before.”
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that the E-coli bacteria responsible for the deaths of 18 people across northern Europe is a strain “never seen before” in an outbreak.
Preliminary tests showed the bacteria is a mutant form of two different types of E-coli, that have aggressive genes possibly explaining why the outbreak has been so deadly.
“This is a unique strain that has never been isolated from patients before,” Hilde Kruse, a food safety expert at the WHO, told the AP news agency.
Kruse said the strain has “various characteristics that make it more virulent and toxin-producing” than the hundreds of E-coli strains that people naturally carry in their intestines”.
Chinese scientists at the Beijing Genomics Institute, who have been examining the bacteria, also said it carried genes that made it resistant to some classes of antibiotics.
“This E-coli is a new strain of bacteria that is highly infectious and toxic,” they said.

Four New Cases Of Deadly E.coli Found In UK
Four more people in the UK have been infected with the deadly E.coli bacteria that has spread across Europe, killing 17 people and making thousands more ill.
The Health Protection Agency confirmed the new cases as it urged British families to wash their fruit and vegetables.
It takes the number of infections in Britain to seven after three other cases surfaced soon after the outbreak in northern Germany in mid-May.
The HPA said it is believed all of the new cases are linked to travel in Germany.
It added that while there was no evidence to suggest the deadly bug had contaminated salads being sold in Britain, consumers should still be cautious when preparing food.
“It is a good idea to wash fruit and vegetables before you eat them to ensure that they are clean, and to help remove germs that might be on the outside of them,” an agency spokesman said.
78 Percent of Pakistani Children With Polio Were Given Polio Vaccines
Thursday, 02 June 2011 07:46
‘In the last year, as Pakistan has lost favor with the US and UNICEF, polio virus has paralyzed increasing numbers of Pakistani youth, casting doubt on the good intentions of those who fight polio. To make matters worse, most of the new cases have occurred in children already vaccinated. Is the US attempting to fight Pakistan by tainting inoculation doses?
The medical data suggests that the vaccine has changed in its efficacy against the disease. Last year, there were 136 cases of infected youth, and 107 of these had been administered multiple polio vaccinations. These figures are the largest the Polio Global Eradication Initiative has seen since 2006, despite heavy treatment in the most affected areas, South Punjab and the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).’

‘So-called food safety laws enacted in Denmark back in 2004 have restricted the sale of any food products that contain added vitamins and minerals, and all on the outlandish premise that such nutrients are a threat to public health. And just recently, the country banned Marmite, a popular food spread sourced from the UK, because it contains added B vitamins.
Perfectly aligned with Codex Alimentarius and the recent EU ban of many herbal remedies, the Danish restrictions allow only the sale of fortified foods and dietary supplements that have been pre-approved by the government.’
New Mind-Altering Drug Capable of Literally Modifying Your Memories
Thursday, 02 June 2011 07:39

‘Changing bad memories into good ones could be just a pill away, according to a new study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism. Researchers from the University of Montreal in Canada say that metyrapone, a drug that blocks the “stress hormone” cortisol, also appears to alter patients’ memories and minimizing their recollection of negative events — but is this actually a good thing?’
